The Menninger Clinic

A world leader in psychiatric care, research and education, The Menninger Clinic needed to share their rich story with philanthropists, prospective patients and other mental health professionals—especially when it came to communicating their vision, research and service offerings.

Following an immersive R&D session to better comprehend the quality and character of their work, we created a robust, editorial-style annual report designed to illustrate the dynamic nature of the human mind and Menninger’s efforts to better understand it. 

Whether patients or practitioners, the people at Menninger comprise a key component of their work. We captured authentic interviews and photographs of some of the personalities who embody Menninger’s mission, resulting in captivating case studies that highlight the Clinic’s groundbreaking work.

To show key aspects of Menninger’s achievements at a glance, we also developed custom illustrations, icons and charts to more effectively demonstrate the life-changing work being done here. 

This project also offered the first opportunity to apply our new branding and identity work we’d just completed for Menninger's Office of Philanthropy—including typography, color palette, logo usage, messaging strategy and more.
